1. Gender: female

2. Age: 15

3. Approximately, how much time do you devote to reading? I read every day.

4. What is your favorite book(s)? So far...I haven't found a favorite I really cling to. There are a few little ones that I reread now and again, but one that I can read for hours on end would have to be The Shining by Stephen King

5. Which do you enjoy more: book series or stand-alone novels? It really just depends on how interesting or grasping the story is.

6. What is your favorite book genre(s)? Horror. I do enjoy a bit of crime thriller and cheesy romance on the side, though.

7. Do you prefer fiction or nonfiction? Mostly fiction.

8. Why do you read? Leisure? Education? Leisure.

9. Do you feel that you get something out of reading? Would you like to? I feel that I do, reading influences my ability to write and understand every day things?

10. Would you like to read more than you do now? I would.

11. Who is your favorite author(s)? Oh, by far Stephen King.

12. Do you own or have you ever used an audiobook? I have not.

13. If so, what do you prefer: audiobooks or printed books? N/A

14. Do you enjoy writing? Yes, very much so, I'm pretty intent on making it my career.

15. If yes, do you feel that the things you read influence your own writing? Very much so.

16. Do you feel that, if people read more in their everyday lives, the literacy rate would be higher than it is now? Why or why not? A lot of spelling issues and just plain stupidity can be solved if more people just picked up a book for once in their lives.
